Moon Journey

Susan Point (1952 – First Nation)

This beautiful panel represents the journey of the moon; it comes and goes every day. The First Nations believe that the moon plays a role in the reincarnation of both animals and humans. In addition, they see the moon as the guardian of humanity during the darkness of the night. The centre of the artwork is made of blue bronze and this is surrounded by beautifully finished wood.
